Adjust the product offering for my employees
Using a mini catalogue, you put together a predefined product range so that your employees can only order from this limited range.
Whether you can create such a mini catalogue yourself depends on the user rights you have for the Lyreco webshop. This is usually carried out by your Lyreco account manager who, in consultation with your buyer or company manager, records the limited range in a mini catalogue and then assigns it to your customer number. The management of a mini catalogue can also be assigned to someone within your company who then takes on the role of 'approver'.
If you have the correct user rights to create a mini catalogue, proceed as follows:
1. Log in to the webshop with your user account and go to Catalogue management via your Profile and click on the arrow to open the selection list.
2. In the drop-down menu that opens, choose the mini catalogue option.
3. Click on the green Create mini catalogue button.
4. Give your mini catalogue a name, and determine the status of your mini catalogue.
- Allowed - The end user can only view and order specified products.
- Blocked - The end user can view and order all products with the exception of those specified in the catalogue.
- Controlled - The end users can view and order any products. However, any items listed in the catalogue will be forwarded to an approver for review and approval prior to order submission.
5. Click the green CREATE button at the bottom right.
Once you have created a mini catalog you also need to add products to it.
This can be done in 3 different ways:
1. Add products in bulk
When creating the mini catalogue, download the Excel file template, fill in that file with the product reference numbers and the required status and then upload that Excel file into your mini catalogue. This way you can add products in bulk to the mini catalogue.
2. Add products individually
Search for a product in your mini catalogue using the product reference number and click the corresponding icon to give the product the required status.
3. Add products per category or subcategory
In your mini catalogue, use the drill-down menu per product category to go to the products you wish to add and click on the corresponding icon per category, subcategory or product to assign the required status.
